I recently took a trip to San Diego to visit one of my best friends. While I was there, I had one of the BEST dirty martinis of my life and have been craving one ever since!
The secret: blue cheese stuffed olives + pickled onion.
I am not a huge blue cheese fan myself, but in this dirty martini it really adds a nice kick to it! Trust me, it’s a must try!
Dirty Blue Martini
- 2 blue cheese stuffed olives, drained & patted dry
- 1 pickled pearl onion
- 1 ounces vermouth
- 3 ounces vodka (or gin)
- 1 tablespoon olive brine or juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Directions:
- Skewer olives and onion. Coat chilled martini glass with vermouth. In a shaker, combine vodka, ice and olive juice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with prepared skewer.
- Serve immediately
