Previously, I shared some of my favorite baby gear must-haves and I have been asked to share some of my favorite products to use!
1. Pampers Pure Diapers and Wipes.
Aspen has the MOST sensitive little bum. I have tried pretty much every diaper out there (with the exception of cloth diapers…. let’s be honest, my laundry pile is big enough)! These diapers are so great! Not only are they free of chlorine bleaching and fragrance, but they are also hypoallergenic and SO soft! As a bonus they have adorable simple prints on them. These are by far my favorite diaper and zero rashes for my little!2. NoseFrida
When I was pregnant, my cousin of two littles had told me this was a must. When I first saw this thing I thought…. “Wait, what?! Gross!” and now I don’t know what I would’ve done without it! It is GENIUS! The first thing I will tell you is no, you do not suck up boogers into your mouth! You also don’t have to shove the tip of it up their nose (like with the bulbs) over and over and risk hurting them! This thing is a total LIFESAVER- trust me!
We use this all over almost every night after bath time. It is an oil that is SO soft and smooth. It dries quickly and isn’t sticky. I even put it in her hair where she has some breakage on the back and brush it through, which has helped a ton with her hair growth. If you haven’t checked out the Beauty Counter line, you should! They have lots of great products that are free of harsh chemicals.4. Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Nighttime Balm.
My little gets some eczema on her knees and elbows. So in rotation with the Beauty Counter baby oil, we use the Aveeno Eczema balm every few nights. It is very thick and extremely hydrating! It takes away her little dry spots within a couple of days!
5. EZPZ Mat.
Aspen loves feeding herself, and when we would go out to eat she needed a plate that she could use and not throw on the floor. Confession: before we had this I used to have to wipe down the table with a disinfectant wipe then set her food there. My germaphobe self could not deal. So, I picked up one of these amazing mats a few weeks ago at our local natural baby store. I seriously wish I had invented this thing.. it is ideal! It sticks to the table so your little can’t push it off the table or pick it up an make an even bigger mess. There are many different colors, shapes, and sizes to choose from. We have the travel size and it comes with its own resealable bag for on the go. I mean, how adorable is this little submarine?! It fits perfectly in the back of our diaper bag and we take it everywhere with us!
6. Sleep Sacks.
I’ll be honest, I am a FREAK when it comes to Aspen sleeping safely. She is almost a year and I still wake up checking on her. She does not sleep with anything in her bed, no blankets, no stuffed animals, no pillows… okay, you get it. This is why I have loved sleep sacks since the day she was born. When she was a newborn we used the velcro swaddles, but have since used the zip sleep sacks. We rotate through a few of them during the week. It keeps her warm and safe at night. If anything, they’re great peace-of-mind for me! My favorite (although more spendy) is the Kyte Baby Sleep Sack. It is by far the softest and it is a little bit heavier than the others we have tried.
7. Bows.
If you have a little girl, bows are a must-have in my book, especially if your little doesn’t have much hair like mine! My favorite bows are the nylon string bows. They are so stretchy and aren’t tight on her head. She also seems to leave these on her head for longer periods of time. One of my favorite brands is Little Poppy Co, which is a bow subscription. It is so fun! Every month you get three different nylon bows or clips. If you aren’t into the subscription, there are tons of shops with them on Etsy! My other favorite is Baby Bling Bows! There’s so many choices and I love that they are larger!
Enjoy Mamas!
